COVID-19 is a part of our lives and as such, we all need to take seriously steps we can all do to help minimize the spread and keep all of us safe and healthy. With that in mind, along with the various guidelines from the CDC and the Oregon Health Authority, I am outlining the steps I will be taking during photo shoots with all of my clients.
Communication
I will rely on email, text, phone and video chat/conference to minimize in-person communication until time of shooting.
Prior to Photo Shoots
I will check-in with to confirm the following information:
Have you...
- Had a new or worsening cough?
- Had a fever? (100.3 or higher)
- Had shortness of breath?
- Been in close contact with anyone with these symptoms?
- Been in contact with anyone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past 14 days?
- Been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past 14 days?
Unfortunately, if the answer to any of these questions is "Yes", we will reschedule for at least 14-days later. I will make note of the appointment and retain that information for no more than 60 days.
During Photo Shoots
Location
- Indoor locations will have appropriate ventilation (forced air, cross-ventilation, etc.)
- Indoor/Outdoor will accommodate attendees and maintain social distancing requirements
Group sizes
- Indoors - No more than 10 people (including myself)
- Outdoors - Current guidelines state no more than 50 people
Social distancing
PPE
- I will be wearing a face covering AT ALL TIMES
- Everyone must wear a face covering up until moment of shooting (unless the mask is part of it!)
- Hand sanitizer and gloves will be available for use
Equipment, props, etc.
My primary goal is to make sure that everyone not only feels safe, but is safe. And with these few steps, we can be safe and have an amazing time creating amazing images. As always, please reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns.
So wherever you are, please be well and stay safe!
